All About U Barber Lounge opened in 2017 by Owner, Latoya Medina. At AAUBL, our mission is just that! To make your experience All About U. Our talented barbers specialize in crisp haircuts, man weaves and male facials. Book online with Booksy !!!

Owner, Latoya Medina, has lived in Joliet for the majority of her life. She is the mother of three children and grandmother of one. She works hard to provide for her children. Raising a cousin and being a high school student left little funds for a haircut so, Latoya purchased her first pair of clippers. Even though his first haircut was not the best, she was determined to get it right. As Latoya would say, " I got good at it". From there she started giving five dollar haircuts in her small hallway. In 2009, she decided to attend Royal Image Barber College, also known as, Larry's Barber. Latoya obtained her barber license and instructor license. At this time Latoya also worked with individuals with disabilities full time. She held that position for over twenty - one years. Through experience, success and patience Latoya has learned to work with a diversified crowd. In 2017, Latoya Medina opened All About U Barber Lounge. Latoya is blessed with a gift and she intends to use it to provide for the community.

Born and raised on the south side Chicago with an upbringing of urban hairstyles and fashion. Understanding the Hair culture along with the business at a young age. Growing up, my mother was a consistent cosmologists that gave clients different styles and retail products that encourage customers to maintain healthy hair. As a license barber I take pride in my profession in which my passion is driven daily. Not to mention, building relationships, giving professional service as well as promoting healthy hair are all keys of my mastery of barbering.

Born and raised in Joliet, IL basketball star turned to barber. I used to Love playing ball but when that dream died I searched long and hard for another passion never did I think it would be becoming a successful barber. The first time I turned on some clippers was 2015 giving my dad a bald fade. I didn't know the first step to a fade so I ran and googled how to do one long story short I've been his barber ever since. It still took me years to take a leap of faith and attend barber college November 2016 I graduated from Larry's Barber College & the rest is history it's not just cutting hair for me , its the transition from when you came in to when you hop out the chair Feeling yourself -Taj IstayFr3sh

Growing up I never thought I would have a passion for cutting hair. During my junior and senior year at Eastern University, I couldn't find a steady barber. So I decided to start cutting my own hair. I did a decent enough job to where people would ask who cut my hair and I would tell them me. Soon after my clientele grew and I decided to make it a career. This career I am forever thankful for. My valued clients have made this an amazing experience and opportunity for me.
